We couldn't take it anymore, just couldn't take it! The cold and snow and ice and boots and gloves and coats and salt for snow removal coating everything and the lack of Vitamin D and on and on. We knew Lance's mom was coming to spend some time with us so after she graciously agreed to stay back in the cold we booked a trip to Turks and Caicos.
We left JFK at 7 am and looked like this by 130 pm -- a direct 3.5 hour flight cannot be beat
I've never seen more beautiful water than here, it even beat Bora Bora. It was shockingly clear. |
The view from the lobby |
Hanging with my BFF |
There were beautiful flower like this EVERYWHERE |
My vice -- I drank WAY TOO MUCH, but I did manage to work out twice -- a record for me on vacay! |
Lance did a little snorkeling, I opted out this time. Turks has the 3rd largest corral reef after Australia and Belize. |

Our last night there -- we were sad but missing the girls terribly and ready to come home and see them |

Looks amazing!! On my bucket list of places to visit. Nothing more relaxing than beautiful water!! Looks like a blast! Glad you got to get away with your sweetie especially this long winter!!
Hi Judith! I haven't visited in a while, so I had to go back and read all of your recent posts :)
First of all, Happy Birthday! We are all getting older, but I must say you look exactly the same as in college (now what is your secret?!)
Secondly, I am SERIOUSLY jealous about your recent trip! (Gonna have to repent for that one :)I've been wanting to go on a trip with Nathan but I'm so paranoid about leaving my bambinos that we have put it off for another year.
Third, I LOVE your header! That is such a cute picture of you all and you look beautiful! That's one hot mama! You have a beauty that radiates from the inside out-- I sincerely meant that.
I am glad to see you all doing so well. I noticed that your mom is FB friends with my pastors-- Tiffany and Mark Ivey. I mentioned this to Tiffany and she talked about what a sweet woman your mom is and bragged about your whole family. I thought it was such a small world to come all the way from Phoenix to Hickory to find a mutual friend from my time in Texas! Blessings, Milk :)
